This is an image that I use on some of my product cards and everyone always asks about the sweet face in the picture.....

This is my niece, Sophia, wearing the necklace that I originally designed for her mom, my sister Andrea, to wear on her wedding day.  My sister had this picture taken for me knowing that my goal is to create timeless pieces that can be passed down to future generations of jewellery lovers, which just makes it that much sweeter. 

On a side note, people always ask about her hair. "Was it styled for the shoot? Does she still have those beautiful curls?" The answers are no and no. This wild look is what her hair did naturally when it was pulled out of her little ponytail and, with a few haircuts, all the curls disappeared.  She now has pin straight hair - the kind that air dries perfectly and is impervious to frizz.......the kind I would have killed for in high school.  Sigh.
